Hello everyone, my name is Sam Westerhof, 21 years old and born and raised in Enschede. After completing my bachelor in civil engineering last year, I started this study year with the CEM-master, specialized in the water engineering and management direction. Next to my study, I like to play tennis and spend time with friends. Some other interests of me are Formula 1 and travelling, which I enjoy a lot as well. I joined the study tour to experience the totally different Japanese culture and to see how Japanese civil engineers deal with similar issues we encounter in the Netherlands. I think the study tour will be a great enrichment of my master studies and I’m definitely looking forward to it!
