Hi i’m Heleen, currently finishing off my bachelor of civil engineering. Next year I’ll start my masters CME, starting with the study tour to Japan. I’m really looking forward to working with the nice group of students and the trip to Japan! I think Japan is a really interesting country because there’s a peculiar mix of a European and Asian culture, so I’m really excited that I get the chance now to see how things work there! I’m especially interested in the big cities, how the Japanese can create a liveable area with so many people close together and whether they manage projects very differently compared to what we’re used to here.
Next to studying, I am a member of skating association Skeuvel, I enjoy making music: harp and bit of piano, and of course I love to travel around the world.
